Privacy Policy
This page explains what information CryoTrak, Inc. collects when you visit cryotrak.com or use our monitoring platform, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Plain language is the goal; ask us if anything is unclear.
Who we are
CryoTrak, Inc. is a Delaware-headquartered Massachusetts C-Corporation registered at 300 Brickstone Square, Suite 201, Andover, MA 01810. We build dry ice monitoring hardware and software for cold chain logistics. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “CryoTrak” refer to CryoTrak, Inc.
What we collect
From visitors to cryotrak.com
- Information you submit through forms. When you fill out our “Request Early Access” form, we collect your name, work email, company, role, area of interest, and any optional message you include. This is the only personal information we ask for through the public website.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) records your IP address, browser type, country, and the pages you visit. We use this only to operate the site and to spot abuse.
- No third-party advertising trackers. We do not run ad pixels, retargeting tags, or behavioural advertising tools on cryotrak.com.
From the CryoTrak monitoring platform
The CryoTrak product collects telemetry from monitoring devices attached to your shipments: temperature readings, sublimation rate, internal sensor data, GPS-derived location, and the shipment identifier you assign. We do not directly receive or process patient information, medical records, or other Protected Health Information (PHI). The shipper knows what is in the box; CryoTrak sees only the environmental conditions around it.
If you are a customer of the platform, the contract between us and your organisation governs how that telemetry data is handled. This page covers the public website only.
Why we collect it
- To respond to inquiries. If you contact us through the website, we use your information to reply, schedule a call, or send the materials you asked about.
- To operate and secure the site. Logs and IP-level data help us spot scraping, denial-of-service attempts, and other abuse.
- To improve the product and the site. Aggregated, non-identifying patterns (e.g. which pages get visited most) help us decide what to write next.
Where it lives, and for how long
Submissions through the website are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1, in the United States). Email notifications routed through Cloudflare Email Routing reach our internal [email protected] inbox. We retain inquiry submissions for as long as the conversation is active, then for two years after our last interaction with you, after which we delete or anonymise the record. You can ask us to delete your submission earlier at any time.
Who sees it
Only the small CryoTrak team. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with marketing partners. We rely on a short list of operational service providers (subprocessors) to run the business:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, email routing, database (D1).
- Google Workspace — internal email and document storage for the team.
If we add other subprocessors that handle your information, we will update this page. If you are a platform customer, your contract may list additional subprocessors specific to your deployment.
Your choices
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request” and we will respond within 30 days.
- Withdraw consent. If you have asked us to keep you informed about the product and you change your mind, just reply to any email from us and we will remove you.
- EU/UK residents (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above.
- California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale. We do not sell personal information; the same email contact applies to access and deletion requests.
Cookies and similar technologies
cryotrak.com uses minimal first-party cookies to keep the site working (for example, remembering you have dismissed a banner). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or cross-site advertising identifiers. The Cloudflare network may set its own infrastructure cookies for security and bot detection; these are not used for advertising.
Children
The CryoTrak website and product are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
International transfers
CryoTrak is a US-based company. If you submit information from outside the United States, that information will be processed in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with our subprocessors to safeguard transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, contact you directly. The previous version is always available on request.
